Resolution
The warning is seen when editing the settings of the virtual machine on the Hardware tab as follows:

This memory setting is larger than VMwares recommendation for this guest OS.
To resolve the issue:
    Configure Windows 2003 Standard/Enterprise 32bit to use 4096 MB of RAM or less.
    Configure Windows 2003 Standard 64bit to Windows 2003 Enterprise 64bit.
    For more information related on configuring your Windows system, consult your vendor documentation.
