I will say that although there is less material (or so it appears) to study for this exam, I found it more challenging to prepare for this exam than the Route test. In the end, I did really well, but would have to say I got lucky and probably guessed right on some questions.
8 F9 B7 n" ]3 q7 hI think you should have a plan when you go in there. Map out how you will approach the labs and have a good solid flow chart of what actions you will take. The LACP lab will take up a good chunk of time, so don’t be fooled thinking you have more time than you do. They give 50 +/- a few questions, but I was in there the full time. The labs take a long time and, if you do not have a plan, you will be overwhelmed with the details. Take the extra day or two and just practice this lab. Do not take it lightly. If this lab doesn’t work for you, you will put yourself in jeopardy of failing in my opinion.
/ G6 M6 a$ V1 @7 P, ~I expected to get a lot of questions on security, but I got very few. Overall, the exam covered what I felt were all the major topics. Make sure you know all the redundancy protocols pretty well and also have a plan for the HSRP LAB. It’s basically understanding and being able to apply what you know. The #’s have changed, so you will need to actually know what you are doing instead of just memorizing an answer.
$ y4 \5 t" x) \, T$ TJust a couple of questions on VOIP – maybe 2-3. I don’t think I got any wireless…but don’t remember. I got a d&d that was not in vaio’s file, but I had seen it before maybe in petter’s vce file….again, I would compare if there are d&d there that are not in vaio.
I went through pretty much the whole official cert guide, chapter by chapter. I also practiced on some equipment I have at home and that helped alot too.
