This elective validates the skills of experienced Network Design Engineers in designing data center networks that can handle the demanding needs of AI workloads. The new v3.1 written and practical exam will be available for testing beginning February 9, 2025

The CCDE Written exam v3.1 (400-007) is a 2-hour, multiple-choice test with 90-110 questions. The exam validates High-Level (HLD) aspects as well as business requirements within the context of enterprise network architectures. The written and practical exams are designed with dual-stack in mind, so IPv4 and IPv6 should be expected across every exam topic and technology. The exam is closed book and no outside reference materials are allowed.

The CCDE Practical exam v3.1 is an 8-hour scenario-based exam that focuses on the core Enterprise network architectures and technologies, as well as on your selected area of expertise.
