There is normally only one Querier per physical network. All multicast routers start up as a Querier 7 }& Q4 T! E2 Z, M2 C# X) non each attached network. If a multicast router hears a Query message from a router with a lower IP 5 H$ g- u/ x% haddress, it MUST become a Non-Querier on that network. ( b% g( m# u5 o- I" _' x) g6 ^, | f
