- Typically 3 to 8 years’ experience in the Data Networking, Telecom or Test capacity

Primary Function
Delivers technical expertise for solution implementation to customers based on Ixia products and services. Keeps abreast of market trends and competitive products, and identifies competitive differentiators. Engaged throughout the sales process, including requirements analysis, feature demonstrations, benchmarking, competitive positioning, and execution. Owns the deal’s technical closure. Understands customer’s technology, products, test requirements to recommend solutions to meet their needs, and ensures customer satisfaction. May build mini-applications based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping. Integrates Ixia products and services at the system/solutions level into customer’s environment and ensures interoperability within the customer environment. Acts as the customer voice to influence future product design to meet customer needs. May be regional or product/technology focused. May deliver customer training classes and consulting related to installed solution and Ixia applications.
