前几日收到Cisco的邮件,通知CCIE R&S lab考试变体.”Upcoming revision to CCIE R&S Lab certification will become effective on October 18, 2009 .“
新的版本是”CCIE R&S v4.0″,在2009年10月18日之前,老版CCIE R&S V3.0还可以继续使用.不
过现在才开始备战CCIE R&S的朋友,直接准备V4版本吧.V3你是赶不及了.

官方的说法是:

Candidates who have exams scheduled October 18, 2009 or later should prepare using the CCIE R&S v4.0 Written Exam Topics (blueprints), CCIE R&S v4.0 Lab Exam Topics and the CCIE R&S v4.0 Lab Equipment and Software Versions.

1.新增入了”
Mobile CCIE Labs”,
provide greater access to take your

Routing & Switching Lab exam.

2.考试内容更新(
Main changes):
Larger Technology topics added: EIGRPv6, Optimized Edge Routing/Performance Routing, IPv6 multicast, MPLS VPN, RSVP.

3.新加入了—Troubleshooting. As of Oct 18th, the configuration section shrinks by 2 hours to 5.5 hours (appx), with a 2 hour troubleshooting section.

4.设备有变化—Version 3.0(effective through october 17.2009) / Version 4.0 (effective begining October 18, 2009)

Labs to provide greater access to Lab testing while greatly reducing travel time and expenses in regions without a CiscoCCIE
lab location.
