FC光纤信道、infiniband和以太网速率

我们公司主要做光模块，波分得胜设备，对速率上比较关注，
最近对FC光纤信道、infiniband和以太网的ITU标准和速率记忆有点混了，特地再查了资料。顺便就分享一下：

2/InfiniBand
一、InfiniBand概念

1、InfiniBand架构是一种支持多并发链接的“转换线缆” 技术。

2、InfiniBand是用于低层输入/输出通信的技术，InfiniBand 是在串行链路上实现超高速率的 低延迟的互联技术。

3、InfiniBand是一个统一的互联结构，既可以处理存储I/O、网络I/O，也能够处理进程间通信（IPC）。它可以将磁盘阵列、SAN、LAN、服务器和集群服务器进行互联，也可以连接外部网络。
其特点如下：
－-高带宽、低延迟。IB网络最高理论带宽可以达到120Gb/s。当前常用IB产品为QDR设备，其单端口单向带宽为40Gb/s，最小延迟小于1μs；
－-支持多种传输服务；
－-支持远端存储器直接访问（RDMA），包括RDMA读和RDMA写；
－-网络分区功能，支持可编程的分区密钥和路由；
－-用户层I/O访问功能，使用户数据可以旁路核心，实现“零拷贝”传输；
－-多层次的QOS保障；
－-支持SRP、iSER存储协议。

二、物理特性

1、IB每一个连接为2.5Gbps，其扩展性非常好，

1X = 2.5Gb/s

4X = 10Gb/s

12X = 30Gb/s

      100BASE-X（或者100BASE-T），有时又可称为Fast Ethernet，是现有以太
网标准的一个扩展。它使用UTP（非屏蔽双绞线，Unshielded Twisted Pair）或光纤
传输数据，使用CSMA/CD技术，拓扑结构与10BaseT相似，使用星型总线拓扑结构。
同时，它向下兼容10BASE-T系统，可以从10BASE-T系统以即插即用的方式升级。
坊间另一种理解是，100BASE-T与100BASE-X分别对应"FX"与"TX"的子细则。
     媒介类型标识符中的"100"传输速率为100Mbps；BASE是指传输的是基带信
号，即仅有以太网信号于媒介中传播。后缀"TX"、"FX"和"T4"均是指传播介
质。具体符号与介质对应关系如下：
        。TX：Two twisted-pairs of CAT 5 UTP or STP
        。FX：Fiber-optic cabling using 2-strand cable
        。T4：Four twisted-pairs of CAT 3, 4, or 5 UTP

The 100BASE-X standard, 100BASE-X is sometimes referred to as Fast Ethernet or100BASE-T, is an extension of the existing Ethernet standard. It runs on UTP data oroptical fiber cable and uses CSMA/CD in a star wired bus topology, similar to 10BaseTwhere all cables are attached to a hub. And, it provides compatibility with existing10BASE-T systems and thus enables plug-and-play upgrades from 10BASE-T. Another saying said that it is actual 100BASE-T, 100BASE-X refers to the "FX" and "TX" sub-specs.
The "100" in the media type designation refers to the transmission speed of 100 Mbps. The "BASE" refers to baseband signalling, which means that only Ethernet signals are carried on the medium. The "TX", "FX"and "T4" refer to the physical medium that carries the signal.
It incorporates three media specifications:

• 100BASE-TX. Two twisted-pairs of Category 5 UTP or STP
• 100BASE-FX. Fiber-optic cabling using 2-strand cable
• 100BASE-T4. Four twisted-pairs of Category 3, 4, or 5 UTP
  

顺便上一下SDH的：
STM－1的传输速率为19440×8000=155.520Mbit/s；
而STM－4的传输速率为4×155.520Mbit/s=622.080Mbit/s；
STM－16的传输速率为16×155.520（或4×622.080）=2488.320Mbit/s。


我在生产光模块中，做误码测试时，对于万兆光模块SFP+，传输速率是11.3Gbps, 并且是向下兼容的，可支援10.312G 的Ethernet,  STM96, 8xFC以及1.25G都是可以。模块作为光电转换是一块产品，当交换机没连起来的时候，先看看模块是否正常工作，然后更应当先去看看配置上的原因。
