vmware 6.0.2 安装windows 98操作系统，无法安装显卡驱动。画面显示16色。我以前用过5.0版本的没有这个问题。哪位高手给解决一下，谢过。

装了，没用。提示不能安装显卡驱动和鼠标驱动。有没有别的解决方法。比如说独立的显卡驱动，当然是能在虚拟机98系统能用的了。我不会提取，有地址的说一下。我试试。

1）你可以在客户机的C:\Program files\VMWare\VMWare Tools\Drivers下面找到鼠标和显示器的配置文件（如图），然后进行手工配置。
2）Windows 98有两个版本，一个是98年出的第一版，版号4.10.1998，一个是第二版的，版号4.10.2222。一个明显的区别是Internet Explorer的版本（前者第四版，后者第五版）。VMWare Tools要有Internet Explorer第五版的支持，所以，如果你安装的是Windows98第一版，那么最好安装一个Internet Explorer 5.0（可以在Ofiice 2000的安装光盘上找到，或者下载），然后再安装VMTools。这样效果最好。
3）如要使用Windows98而不是它的DOS功能，最好使用第二版。

Installing the SVGA Drivers
The Display Settings window has been opened to
help you finish installing your SVGA drivers.
To complete the installation, follow these steps:
1) Click the Advanced button.
2) Click the Adapter tab.
3) Click the Change button. This starts the Update
   Device Driver Wizard. Click Next.
4) The Wizard now presents two options. Choose
   the second option to "Display a list of all
   the drivers in a specific location..."
   Click Next.
5) Select "Have Disk..."
6) Enter the following path and click OK:
"C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware Tools\Drivers\video\"
7) Select "VMware SVGA II" display adapter and click OK.
8) Answer Yes to the on-screen question, then click
   Next to install the driver. After the driver is
   installed, click Finish.
9) Click Close from the SVGA Properties dialog box,
   then click Close from the Display Setting dialog
   box.
10) Click Yes to restart Windows 98 and start using
    the new video driver.

本以为我们有遇到过这个问题，后来一试，发现安装Windows98都会出现这个问题。但是解决办法也很简单：
1：当安装完VMTool要求重起时，选择不重起（当然，重起了也没事，图1）。
2：右击桌面打开“桌面属性”〉“设置”〉“高级”〉“适配器”，然后选择“更改”（图2）
3：在“升级设备驱动程序向导”中选择“从软盘安装”，
    然后打开文件夹“C:\Program Files\VMware\VMtool Files\drivers\video”,找到vmx_svga.inf。然后一路“确定”，就行了。（图3）
4：最后，你会发现适配器改成了“VMWare SVGA 2”。（图4），然后重新启动系统，就OK了。
