As with our current recertification policies, those holding a Professional and Expert level certification earned by completing a lab exam can recertify at the same level by taking the highest-level written exam. You will not be required to recertify by taking another lab exam. Specific recertification requirements, as you move from the M Series track to the new Service Provider track, are as follows:
IMPORTANT NOTE: - The JNCIA-M and JNCIS-M credentials do not prepare you for the JNCIP-SP or JNCIE-SP credentials and you cannot recertify on the JNCIS-M to obtain your JNCIE-SP.
- Conversely, the JNCIA-Junos and the JNCIS-SP credentials do not prepare you for your JNCIP-M or JNCIE-M and you cannot recertify on the JNCIS-SP to renew your JNCIP-M or JNCIE-M.
Additional Information: The JN0-304 (JNCIS-M) was retired on December 31, 2010. Therefore there is a period of time for those who hold JNCIP-M or JNCIE-M credentials that there is no exam to recertify on. For those individuals who were due to recertify their JNCIP-M or JNCIE-M from October 2010 through July 31, 2011 we have extended your recertification period to August 31, 2011 to allow you enough time to prepare for and pass the written JNCIP-SP available on 5/6/2011. Details on this new exam have been emailed directly to those impacted and announced on the Juniper Networks Certification Program website. Specific recertification requirements, as you move from the ER-series and EX-series tracks to the new Enterprise track, are as follows: Additional Information: The JN0-350 (JNCIS-ER) was retired on December 3, 2010.
