Answer: 3 days.
Day 1: Follow instructions and be very attentive.
Use the Pomodoro Technique. (25-5)

Write down what you understand.
Repeat the experimental procedure 7 times without guidance.




Day 2: Take a break and try to forget everything you did.

Day 3: Experiment again, this time starting configuration. (This will give you a lot to think about)

The physical topology needs to be last.

So you're basically working backwards, and if you missed something, you'll know and learn quickly.
